You are a novice or returning rider who has not yet established basic position fundamentals. Learn the position first.

You are hoping they will resolve a position problem that has not responded to flatwork and coaching. If lessons and schooling have not solved it, equipment is unlikely to.

A Practical Approach

If you are curious about weighted stirrups, try them for a month of regular schooling. Ride the exercises you usually ride. Note specifically whether the heel depth and lower leg stillness improve. If they do, you have useful information. If they do not, you have saved yourself a permanent equipment addition.
